"Nick's ability to attune to me and create safety is unreal. In just one session I felt like a new person."

 Welcome to Broad Winged Counseling

You're not here because you're broken. You're here because your body won't let you forget. The anxiety that won't settle. The tension you carry in your shoulders. The shutdown when intimacy gets too close. These aren't problems — they're intelligence. And you're ready to listen.

Release Trauma

Release Trauma. Rebuild Connection. Reclaim Sexuality.

Rebuild Connection

Reclaim Sexuality

This work is for those ready to go beneath the surface — to explore the patterns quietly shaping how you feel, relate, and desire.

Trauma leaves its imprint on body and mind, relationships shape how we trust and show up, and sexuality carries the energy that fuels presence, pleasure, and connection. These threads surface again and again, pointing to the places where real growth lives.

Here, you meet the parts of yourself that have been waiting for attention, learning to feel more fully, connect more deeply, and move through life with steadiness, depth, and aliveness.

Areas of Focus

  • Uncover and release the patterns that keep you stuck — the tension that won't settle, the hypervigilance, the shutdown. For those who've spent a lifetime holding it together, this work creates permission to finally feel without collapsing. Through somatic guidance and nervous system regulation, you learn to move through life with steadier confidence and presence. This isn't about reliving the past — it's about feeling your way into a different future.

  • Build clarity and depth in your relationships — with partners, friends, family, and yourself. Explore boundaries, communication, and what it means to show up fully without collapsing or performing. This includes learning to integrate vulnerability and strength, to be present without abandoning yourself, to connect without losing your ground. This work is practical, relational, and embodied.

  • Reconnect with your erotic energy and sexual aliveness — not as performance, but as presence. Explore what excites and moves you, uncover blocks to pleasure and intimacy, and learn to inhabit your body's capacity for sensation and connection. This work addresses sexual trauma, shame, disconnection, and the ways desire gets buried beneath survival. It's about reclaiming the energy that fuels intimacy, creativity, and how you move through the world.

Areas of Focus

I’m a somatic, trauma-informed therapist rooted in body-centered experience and relational depth.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken; it’s about learning to feel, move, and be present with what your body already knows. Patterns, tension, and instinct aren’t obstacles — they’re messages guiding you toward insight, clarity, and growth.

I’m trained in the Hakomi method, building on years of Vipassana meditation to bring mindfulness into every session. I’ve supported complex family systems through MST and am trained as a crisis professional, giving me experience navigating relational and acute challenges.

My journey into this work began with the early, traumatic loss of my father. Grief shaped me profoundly and informs how I guide others through their own pain, patterns, and transformation. My work is the culmination of lived experience, clinical training, and personal attunement, and I’m honored to offer this to you.

If you feel called to this work, I would be honored to support you in moving from survival into embodied presence, resilience, and meaningful growth.

Frequently Asked

Don’t see your question? Email me!

  • Somatic therapy treats your body as a source of wisdom, not a problem to fix. We track sensations, breath, tension, and impulses — the places where trauma, patterns, and blocks live beneath words. When the body is met with presence instead of judgment, it can soften, reorganize, and choose. This isn't about understanding your story better — it's about feeling your way into change.

  • People shaped by high-pressure environments — high-conflict homes, instability, trauma, or a lifetime of holding it together. People whose nervous system never fully relaxes. People ready to work beneath thought, in the body, where real transformation lives. If therapy has helped you understand but not change, this is different work.

  • We start with what's present — what brought you here, what you're feeling in your body right now. From there, we track sensations, breath, tension, and the impulses that arise. Every session is tailored to what your body is ready to explore. There's no script.

  • Both. I work with individuals navigating trauma, relational patterns, or sexual disconnection, and with couples ready to rebuild intimacy, repair attachment wounds, and learn to meet each other beneath reactivity.

  • There's no timeline. Some people notice shifts quickly. Others move slower. The focus is on depth and embodied change, not speed. We work until your body feels different, not just until your mind understands.

  • I'm a private-pay provider and don't bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement depending on your plan. I also offer limited sliding-scale availability for those who qualify.

  • Currently virtual only. These sessions are secure, interactive, and fully effective for somatic and relational work. The body speaks just as clearly on screen.

  • I'm trained in Hakomi (body-centered, mindfulness-based), Vipassana meditation, trauma-informed frameworks, and crisis intervention. But the real answer is: whatever meets what's alive in the room. Techniques serve the person, not the other way around.
